The Return
It is with great pleasure that I return to posting on the "Art by Julia!!!" site. I apologize for the delay, but circumstances during the interim hampered my posting efforts.
Today, to get my creative juices flowing, and my posting skills back up to snuff, I offer you a series of images that are not particularly themed based. Instead, they are a smattering of recent activities in which our little Julia has been involved. In future postings, I will return to being more theme based and will also begin searching through my extensive photographic archive about activities during the missed period. So, please continue to look for new material as well as additional "Retro Art by Julia" postings. Also, be sure to visit the two complementary sites, Adventures of Theo!, and Adventures of Julia!!!.

This item, simply entitled "Multimedia #3", was little Julia's first foray wearable wrist art. It appears that our little girl was attempting to model her first efforts in this genre after Kevin O'Grady's famous glass bracelets. Special focus should be paid to the artistic twist of incorporating a "Rugrats" homage to the work so as to not be too deriviative of O'Grady's efforts.
Another view of Multimedia #4 - Cultural Ring by Julia
In this second image of the bracelet, we can see how Julia is fond of promoting collaboration in art. She invited yours truly to participate in her project by adding letters of her name in green script to the design. I believe my minor contribution was helpful.
Above, you can also see that little Julia does not simply abandon her other methods of art in favor of each new genre she adopts. In this second multimedia effort, our little girl again takes cues from the multimedia artist, Bonnie Collura, by using paint on a sculptural form. In this variation, Julia broke away from Ms. Collura's camp by incorporating a temporal sculptural element, crook-necked gourd. The results are again, striking.
